Blackcomb Backcountry: Decker and Disease Ridge

Managed to find a great window of weather and snow between the atmospheric rivers to head into the Blackcomb Backcountry in the opening days of the 2021-2022 season. Snow quality was excellent where protected by wind but we played it conservative given the significant avalanche results that patrol was seeing that morning after yesterdays storm. Weather improved throughout the day and allowed up to head further up into the alpine as the day progressed. Great day, great crew, fantastic to get back into the Spearhead Range!
